So its official, Steve Jobs once again sticks to his tradition on releasing a new version of iphone this summer. June 19th to be exact. What are the differences? How much and who can have it?
At&t still has an exclusive contract with Apple meaning the only once that will be able to buy it without it going through the second hand are At&t customers. At&t and apple didn’t bother making things easier for the customers and unless you are signing a new 2 year contract with At&t you will be paying $599 for 16gb and $699 for 32gb. Now if you decide that you want the contract and purchase At&t (extremely overpriced) services you will be getting the gadget 3 times cheaper $199 16gb and $299 32gb.
Upgrades
Even though Schiller didn’t provide any exact details on the new processor he did mention that the new 3G S will be much faster and promised that the new processor will open applications twice as fast then previous iphones.
It should offer 9 hours of Wi-Fi battery life, 10 hours on video playback, 30 hours on audio playback, 12 hours 2G talk time, and 5 hours 3G talk time. Which is much better then the previous iphone 3G.
In addition to a 3 mega pixel camera The iPhone 3G S will offer the ability to record VGA clips at 30 frames per second. It also promises a nifty editing feature that will let you trim clips to your liking.
Like any other compass it will automatically point to north, but it also will integrate with Google Maps to point you in the right direction. Nice touch.
I was hoping that for a price of $699 they would include a little bit more useful features like you can grab on to the iphone and it will take you to whatever destination you enter in Google by lifting you up in the air and fly there. I have few high grade cables that i am willing to sell that you can use to tie yourself up to the phone so u dont fall of. Guaranteed to work with any flying iphone. If anyone interested just comment. Thank you
Dear Santa,
I just want to tell you that you look like a shroom. So for Christmas I want you to send me some magic shrooms from your private stash. The truth is without drugs our world would be as boring as England.
I’m the guy who would rather get stoned and watch Cheech and Chong but one day while I was hauling my stoned ass through Barnes and Noble (simply I was just bored) when I stumbled upon a book called “Shroom”. It is written by Andy Letcher and it is about the cultural history of the magic mushroom. Andy (I hope he does not mind calling him that) will save you the fancy shmazy about mushroom cults in the past and all of those other plant cults and gets right to the point. He says that the mushrooms back in the day were two kinds of mushrooms-the ones you could eat and the ones that you couldn’t (including the hallucinogenic one). So when people ate them by mistake the doctors were really confused when people were tripping.
He goes on to describe the Mayans taking shrooms and how the west believed it was and evil cult. The best part is when he goes to destroy the legendary R. G. Wasson and his theories. He does so with such a skill that you can visualise the poor Wasson being skinned alive, Andy just pieled and took apart Wasson’s theories like they were dried out fish. Anyways, the book is fun to read and it cost me $3.99. I strongly recomend it to anybody who is taking or will be taking shrooms

So this spring break I went to visit Cancun, Mexico. If you are in college you have probably heard of it, because it has earned the reputation of the #1 place for college spring breakers. Going there just proved to me how crazy spring breakers go. Before I thought those things were just in the movies, boy was I wrong.
Aside from the fact that I was staying at a great hotel, with an open roof, it was refreshing to see all the college kids relax and go crazy. However, I had the feeling they never slept. They were at the pool early in the morning and at the club or one of the many bars all night, always with a cocktail in their hand. It was never awkward to walk up to someone and just start talking to them. When walking through the resort it was not unexpected to hear a stranger ask you how you are enjoying your vacation, unlike in Manhattan where there are a million people on the same street as you and you feel awkward to stop and ask them what time it is. Some of them even ask you to hang out with them. It was a great way to meet new people and just to have fun, forgetting all your problems back home.

A friend of mine was there the week before I went. He stayed at a different hotel and told me about how people there acted. He mentioned that they had games organized for them, along with the loud music playing on the side of the pool. Many of the girls would scream “Tequila” and take off their tops after that. Now that is something you don’t get to see every day. Cancun has great energy, and the people there know how to get you in the mood to just grab a drink and just dance, or sit in the sun and relax.
One of my favorite things to do after I had spent a day at the pool, and before I was off to the club, was to sit on the sand and just watch the waves. It was just like in those post cards you have seen. Big waves crashing into the rocks, and the sound just gave you that relaxation that you have been wanting for months, because you are so stressed with work, or school. If you are not into the whole
“going crazy” life style you can definitely try some other things. For example I went to Chichen-Itza (the great Mayan pyramids). It was amazing and extremely hot. I was in the sun for more than 5 hours, but it was definitely worth it. If I had more time to try other things I definitely would. They had so many things to do such as scuba diving, swimming with dolphins, making a trip to the island off the coast of Cancun and more. If you want to go somewhere I recommend you to at least take into consideration Cancun. You will love it.
