What to do when it is raining????!!!!
For the past two days it has been raining really hard in the NYC and surrounding areas. So most of the people, including myself, have nothing fun to do when it is raining. Well today, since it was my day off, I went on a mission to find things to do indoors and still have fun. Ironically, the first thing that I tried happened outdoors. While I was driving pass a park near my house I noticed that the parking lot was empty. Hhhhhhmmmmm, empty parking lot, a rear wheel drive car, rain, and willingness to get rid of some tire tread led me to an attempt to drift. Actually, if you have watched “The Drift Bible” the guy tells you that the best time to learn drifting is while it is wet. So I went in the parking lot and started spinning around like crazy. Well after a minute or two it got really boring so I called a couple of my friends and they were happy to join me. We had a little competition and stuff, we saw who can keep the longest drift, the longest 360, overall all of us had fun while the rain was pouring over NYC. So where are a couple of things that I did today while it was raining:
- Drifted in an empty parking lot with friends (Front wheel cars work to, all you got to do is use the E-Brake)
- Went to play laser tag with my buddies, after we sparked up.
- Went to Dave and Buster’s (oh yeah….beer, food, and arcade games are a good combo).
Other things you could do but I have not tried out yet:
- Go indoor miniature golf.
- Go to indoor driving range.
- Go indoor cart racing.
- Go glass blowing.
- Go to indoor shooting range.
- Go to indoor paintballing.
- Go bawling.
- Stay home, get really stoned and watch Cheech and Chong movie.
So those are the ideas that I got. If you have more suggestions, please comment and I will be glad to add them. I hope I gave you some so you do not stay home all day long.
